Help Touchscreen Issues while charging/in car dock?

Is anyone else having issues with the EVOLTE when it is charging? As in, the screen becomes completely unresponsive? It mostly happens in the official car dock. I'll plug it in and the screen won't do anything when I touch it, but most of the time, it'll be fine once I take it back out or if I push very firmly down on the phone, as if it weren't plugged all the way in somehow. Except today, where even after a restart, the screen STILL was unresponsive after I took it out of the dock. It wouldn't register any touches. The only that fixed it was leaving it alone for like five minutes and then it was fine. Anyone else having this weird issue?

i've had motorolla samsung, htc and lg. they all do this when plugged in unless you're using specifically supplied chargers. idk what it is, all i can assume is it's got something to do with the supplied voltage to the system. either over or under voltage.

not true with my experience with HTC handsets.

I use MONOPRICE cables in the car and also I use a thin, cheap charge only cable purchased form amazon and i do not have any issues with screen lock ups or anything else the OP speaks about.

Same, never in my experience in owning HTC phones (and I go back to the titan), have I ever had a single issue with a touch screen going unresponsive while charging.

This is true JAY C, and I do not mean to imply it _never_ happens, however i do not think its correct to say this happens across ALL off brand chargers. my comments were in response to post #2.

Thank you for the clarification.
