touchscreen problems

Hiya I have a Samsung galaxy tab 2 and I am having problems with the touchscreen as sometimes it does not respond at all.i waz thinking about sending it back or can this be resolved. If I do send it back what else will I buy.i really like my Samsung galaxy tablet please can you help Thanks wendy

Some devices slow down pretty drastically when they run short on internal space - if you happen to have less than say 1GB free, it might be worth clearing a bit of space to see if that helps.

As for an alternative, the Nexus devices are good though they don't support SD cards so storage on them is limited.

Also, try the App Cache Cleaner widget or can anyone can tell us how to Wipe Cache Partition in Recovery on that tablet? :thumbup:

You could try removing the screen protector, if you have one installed. If your tab is rooted, you could also try the Touchscreen Tune app. It's a paid app, but you get to try it for free (w/o ability to save settings) to see if it works to your satisfaction.

As mentioned some screen protectors can cause problems. Thank god for Gorilla glass. If your screen doesn't respond well then the first thing I would try is to recalibrate your screen (in settings)
