Help Touchscreen quality

Hey, I was wondering for those who were lucky enough to get their hands on the evo v 4g how the touchscreen quality is.

I currently have the Motorola triumph and luckily mine is pretty solid, the only thing that drives me crazy is how bad the touchscreen is at times

So for people that have owned both phones, how do they compare?

I'm mostly looking for much improved responsiveness and accuracy with the touch, also does the multi touch work flawlessly on the evo? The MT would spaz when the axises met in multi touch and I assume the evo doesn't get that annoying bug where the touchscreen has a location on the touchscreen stuck as active input causing any other touches to bug out?

Thanks for anyone with responses, a video of a touch test would be fantastic!

The screen is awesome. Touching it isn't, forgive my pun, a drag. It is so smooth.

I know about the cross axis glitch on the triumph (pew pew 2 was really hard), nothing like that to be found on the EVO.

Also it has a 4 point multitouch screen correct? (I believe that is the sense standard). Or maybe more?

Yes, it has Gorilla Glass and the touch screen is super smooth and accurate. I have quite a few less errors on here than I did on the MT but in general, the touch screen is smooth and accurate.

awesome, thanks guys, now I just have to hope one finds it way to my town soon, and maybe find a buyer for my triumph.

I didn't have any issues with my MT but the touchscreen on this phone definitely makes it look shoddy in retrospect.

This phone has such a wonderful clarity and responsiveness that It's a real pleasure. =]

I screen shoot this to prove its 4- points.

Its almost too sensitive. I find it is taking my input before I physically touch it.

haha yeah same thing happens on my transformer tf300. its like a magic trick if you hover your finger above the screen. not as cool as the new sony phones that are actually going to use that as a feature...
