Help Touchscreen quits working

All of a suddent a couple days ago my touchscreen would sometimes just quit working. I have to pull the battery and reset, and that seems to fix it for a while. I did a "Factory data reset", but that hasn't seemed to help. Does anyone have any suggestions before I call tech support?

I have the same issue, all of a sudden the phone rebooted itself and ever since then the screen goes black, the phone is still on, the buttons on the bottom are lit, but you can't touch the screen or hit the on/off button and get anything on the screen to come back. I have to remove the battery and reinstall and then it works again for a short time.

Have you heard anything from tech support on what the issue might be? Thanks!

I haven't contacted tech support yet, but it doesn't sound like that's quite the issue I'm having. My touch screen will just not respond. I can still use the power button to turn the screen on or off, or bring up the shutdown menu, but nothing on the screen works at all
