Root TouchWiz Baseless

Yea i cant seem to figure out where the backlight is coming from...but im still working on it.
Apparently you get a backlight bug when you flash this touchwiz port or the new Aokp. Well..atleast i do.

Hmmmph...odd. I'm on Bobz 5-21 now. No ports anymore. Re flashed it all because i didn't like Johnny's liquid smooth(its a good port) just not a huge fan :3

Yea it does look like it. I just fixed the Framework Issue( with Johnny's help of course) and also added some new things to it. :) but also included is the recent app screen that you see here

Now if you want the System Ui to look like touchwiz then download it. Its right there on my post as well. But the cool Recent app screen will be gone.

Oh and also It has a backlight issue. idk if flashing the backlight fix that was created a long time ago can fix it. Never had time to try due to school.

do you know what thread the backlight fix was in ? ive searched and cant find it lol

There is no backlight fix per say. That files was on Bobz for button backlight and brightness control and we have had issue when turning screen off ever since

What johnny said...the backlight fix has been tested and it doesnt work.
I tried removing the
light.msm8960.so file and the backlight still stayed on. So im guessing it has something else going on. Im still working on it. But its just a pain in the ass to keep trying to fix it with no success. :p:rolleyes:

I'm on cm10 playful gods ROM. I installed touchwiz and tried to get to recovery and does a wipe I have backups but no way to use them. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Pull your battery out, put it back in, and start mashing Volume down while your phone boots until recovery opens

Managed to almost fix backlight. But the thing comes back after like an hour and it wont go away. Something with the framework...but it will take me awhile. Im busy with school and sports. I will try and balance it all out.
