Help touchwiz error

didi768

Newbie
Have an icon on my phone for date/weather and it keeps saying "Unfortunately, TouchWiz home has stopped." What the heck is that? I don't have it listed as a program anywhere/applications. The error happens when I tap it to pull up local weather. Says "Tap to add city."
Should I just drag it to the trash folder or doesn't that really make it "really" go away?
Thanks guys!

Touchwiz is the launcher samsung includes on their phones. It is the app drawer and home screen layout you see when you unlock your phone, and not something you install. That said, the normal way to clear up force closes is to clear data and cache for the app.

Go into Settings | Apps | All and in that list you should see something like touchwiz.ui or similar. Choose that and you should see the option to erase data and cache.
