If you go here (Galaxy S i9000m touch wiz landscape bug - xda-developers) there is a 'bug', you can create, when you have LauncherPro installed that will make TouchWiz work in landscape mode. This works on my Australian i9000 Galaxy S.
I accidentally did this to mine and didn't know what caused it, a brief search uncovered the above topic.
