Touchwiz is worse than before

Just got my phone yesterday, and I have to say Touchwiz has changed alot since my last Samsung (Galaxy S). Even the Galaxy S Touchwiz was a little crappy, so I flashed custom ROMs that worked well. But the Galaxy S4 Touchwiz is pretty bad. Can't wait til stable ROMs get released so I can get rid of this POS they call Touchwiz. TBH, I think Sense is better (& I always hated Sense).

BTW, anyone know how to quickly toggle WiFi. It seems like that's missing now.

To be fair, no one forced you to buy it. There are store demos and reviews everywhere. If you hated it then, you'll likely still hate it now. Return it while you can. ;)

That being said... it appears that you are on VZW and that they left the wifi toggle off for some reason (who knows what they were thinking). It's always possible to download an app like switchpro to place toggles in the notification tray or you can download one of the many other wifi widgets on the play store.

Store demos? Not anywhere where I live. No Verizon corporate or premium retailer has a real working S4.

To be fair, I buy phones for the hardware. Then, I flash the ROMs I want to use. So, your point is irrelevant.

Yea, I guess VZ did leave it out. I guess I'll toggle WiFi the long way until a good stable ROM releases. I seriously cannot wait. All the useless bloatware will disappear and I'll be back to vanilla android.

I'm shocked at what Touchwiz has become. The not so tech-savvy people will definitely have a hard time using this phone.

Woah! That's crazy!

So why complain about it...? Serious question by the way. :)

Really confused as to why VZW/Sammy chose to leave it out (as it makes no sense).

Yeah, I guess I could see that. At times there are almost TOOOOOooo many options!

The answer is pretty obvious: I have to use Touchwiz right now (until good ROMs are released). Also, I don't seem to understand your reasoning: if something doesn't affect me directly, I can't complain about it? So, people shouldn't complain about starving children in Africa?

The serious question is "Why do you care if someone complains about Touchwiz?" If you weren't part of the team that designed it, then I don't see why you are so defensive.

Im not sure because I havent tried this, but a quick way to toggle without searching through menus may be using S voice. Probably can command to switch wifi on or off I would guess.

Since it sounds like you just want to argue I'll just leave it with a "thanks" and "that your reasoning makes more sense now that you explained it."
