Help Tough Problem need help--newbie

I am trying to add an app through Marketplace. I am blocked by a google password needed for my youtube account (I have no idea how it got like that). After a ridiculous maze of work, I reset my youtube password and plugged it into where my android is asking when my phone is in the marketplace. It tells me I have the wrong password. I hope I made sense here. Can anyone tell me how to clear this darn thing? I have no idea why it is even blocking me in Marketplace. I know I am ignorant of a lot, but this seems silly. Thanks for any help

Check for multiple accounts in the market. While in the market hit menu then accounts. Might be what you need. Surprised me that I had two accounts.
