Toughest Case?

whats the toughest/best protection wise case out there for the gnex?

not for everyday use, but for outdoor activity use such as mountain biking

i know of...

otterbox defender &
ballistic shell gel (still not available)

wondering if there is anything else out there that im not aware of

would prefer phone to be sealed off to provide as much dust and water(for occasional splash) protection as possible

i had the otterbox defender for iphone 3gs, and it was great, but the gnex defender doesn't seem to be built to the same standard

for the iphone it had rubber plugs for all the ports/openings, had some kind of a mesh or fabric over any speaker or mic ports, and had a clear plastic cover for the screen or any areas that showed through such as the camera location and apple logo

besides the 2 mentioned any other suggestions?
or any feedback about the mentioned cases?

The Otterbox Defender for the GNex really is a great, extremely durable case.

The hard plastic inner case along with the soft silicone outer case is perfect. It definitely makes the phone feel tough.

It is all sealed except for the LED light, Camera and Speaker/Front-facing camera. It has rubber covers for all ports and a built-in screen protector. I don't think you'll find a case that is any "more sealed" than this, as it would cause the phone to overheat.

I'm using it, and wouldn't even consider switching.

the area for the speaker and camera, is it just fully open and you could touch the phone, or is there also a clear protective barrier or some kind of mesh to help prevent dust or anything from getting into the speaker?

Its open. The otter box is the toughest case you'll get until they, "RELEASE THE KRAKKEN!".
