Root Towelroot

I rooted using towelroot and installed super user. Can I remove the towelroot app or will that mess up something?

Once you have the superuser libs installed you don't need that app anymore

Yes,You can go ahead and uninstall TowelRoot.You won't need it once your rooted.

The problem I found with towelroot is that after scanning with multiple antivirus apps for android it was read as a Trojan. But I guess it would be since it roots the phone right? Lol

Exactly. It is a Trojan. That doesn't necessarily mean it's nefarious, at least to the end user; but maybe in the eyes of handset manufacturers.
