TPU Case Specifically made for the LTE Galaxy Nexus with Extended Battery.

That's what I'm on the hunt for, just like the title says....A TPU case made Specifically for use with the Extended battery.

Yes I know plenty of people are using the Diztronic case, the Verizon TPU case, and a few others. However all those case were designed for use with the stock battery and cover.

I'd love for VZW to releases the original Shiny Black TPU case they have now, but designed for use with the extended battery and cover. It would make sense since soooooo many people are opting for the extended battery that VZW offers....which by the way is pretty much sold out everywhere.

Anyone have any luck finding what I'm describing here?
 
tell you what. Just for you when i go to South Korea next month i'll swing by Samsung Headquarters and pick one up for you. Surely they have one laying around.

So why not just order this case online? It does fit/work with the extended battery, as I had it for two weeks with my phone & extended battery. It appears to be in stock online.
 
Why are you against the ditztronic just because it doesn't officially say it supports the extended battery. Mine fits absolutely fine with my extended battery and battery cover. The only reason I modded mine is because I have a rev 1 case so I cut out the volume buttons. The rev 3 case already has them cut out. Cruzer-lite happens to be posting here and also says their cases fit the extended battery. I just ordered 3.

Honestly...I love the OEM Shiny Silicon Case that VZW offers. Ive had it on every single smart phone that ive ever owned from VZW. Every time they release a phone, the case is available...

I have it on my GNex now, and its a nice snug fit with the Stock battery.

However when you put the Extended battery on with the cover, and then put the case on its not an exact fit. The cover has an indent in it because of the hump on the phone. When you put the extended on that hump is gone, which causes some space near the bottom and wiggle room near the cutouts for the camera. Call me a stickler, but it's just not an exact fit!

If vzw makes the same exact case without the indent for use with the extended battery that would be perfect.

Other companies are doing it, check Seidio's site. They have a case that is made specifically for use with the VZW extended battery. However it's not a TPU case...It's a 2 piece snap together case, which is not my cup of tea.
 
You must have gotten an anomalously, because I didn't see anything what you described in the one I had.

All the pics I have uploaded are on of the case on a LTE Gnex with the extended battery
 
You DO NOT NEED the extended battery back that came with it, use the original. I use that with the Otterbox Commuter and it works great!
 
i don't understand why you're so against using the diztronic. i've got the rev3 on my nexus, with extended battery (and extended battery door) and it's fits PERFECTLY. absolutely perfect.

i'm also ordering 3 of the cruzer lite cases...the vzw one isn't the be-all-end-all. i used the vzw silicone cases on my dinc and then started with the black one on my nexus...til i found the diztronic. it's just a much better case all around, IMHO.

Its not about being against Distronic! I just prefer the Shiny Silicone from VZW. Reason being, I happen to like the coverage, I like the volume rocker covered up, the less openings the better. Over all Its a nice tight fit, and I've already dropped my Nexus twice and have seen first hand this case can take a beating. No blemishes on the phone or even the case...zero! In my book that's what I need.

And I just like the lite pattern and what not, overall I just like the case and wish a specific one was made to use solely with the extended battery on board.
 
there is nothing wrong with Sean wanting a specific style case, I see his point.

It's like blue jeans..Take five different brand name jeans and they all may "fit" you but you're always going to have your favorite brand that fits just the way you want them to.


Yes Sean i have the ext battery and it fits perfect in the Rev 3.

Just goes to show, different strokes for different folks. I had the shiny case from VZW on my Rezound and I didn't like it because it covered the buttons and they are already tough to press on the Rezound. I passed on it when I got the GNex for that exact reason--the buttons were still covered up. Even though they aren't nearly as recessed on the GNex, I just don't want them covered by the case.

The Rev 1 of the Ditztronic case had the volume buttons covered, but it didn't work out so well for some people.

My Cruzer-lite cases should arrive today. I can post pics if you are interested in an alternative case since you can't seem to find what you want.
