trackball colours

Could anyone who makes applications tell me if it is possible to change the trackball light colour, i read about a guy who swears he had blue the first time he turned his hero on, and after resetting it went back to white,im sure its only white we will be able to achieve, but if anyone knows different let us know,

How can you expect to change the trackball color??? If the light is white then it is white.

I am not aware .. if the light has a multi-colored LED with it ... but since it is basically a Blackberry style trackball, I would assume that it is only White ..???

This is not that odd of a question.

There are other phones with trackballs that you can change the color. I know it is done with the Blackberry Curve(my old phone) but cannot remember how.

Well if it has a multi-color version ,,, it would have to be firmware driven ... or an app that has acccess to the code ...
