Trackball dead

[fahertyps]

Well almost. It will only scroll to the left, up, and down. When I try it to the right, it rolls smooth (no ratchet feeling like the other directions) and does not more the cursor.
Any suggestions? Think cleaning will help? I don't have an extended warranty/plan.
