Trackball problem?

First of... if your trackball is not working Verizon will replace your eris under warranty.

However, it seems the replacement phones come with an HBOOT file that is not rootable... so if you don't want to give up your eris, and fix your trackball...

Looks like you can do this for about $5... and it'll look better also

Very cool; great to see options out there such as that.

I fondly recall the early days of Blackberry Pearl when we were finding ways to colorize trackballs and replace face plates, etc.
