Tracker for droid & Mac?

Ok, so my daughter recently switched to the Galaxy from the iPhone. We used to be able to all see each other's location with "Find my iPhone" I'm looking for an app that will work the same on both Droid & Mac.
I tried using Dolphin, that got her into iCloud & got her Find my iPhone on her phone, she could see us, but I could not activate her phone so that I could track her!
Any Help!? Thanks

there are a lot of free tracking apps in the Play Store. Most of them are security suites, such as: AVG, Lookout, Avast, etc.

I recommend you look into a paid app called Cerberus. There is a free trial in the Play Store that you can test to your heart's content for one week. I have tried the three free ones I mentioned above and Cerberus is far more robust and reliable regarding actually locating the device.

You can track up to five Android devices with one lifetime Cerberus account - $5 I think - via any browser

Activate your Samsung account on the phone, then go to Samsungdive.com. Or you can activate Google Latitude from the Maps app, it basically is sort of a social network where your friends can see where you are the last time it refreshed. Just keep the friends list to family and you'd be fine.

Didn't they just announce that latitude will end in a month? Or am I mistaken?

Cerberus installs on Android devices. (And can be hidden fro the app drawer so anyone gaining access won't know to disable or uninstall it.)

Then any browser can track it at www.cerberusapp.com. Phone, desktop, tablet, platform - all don't matter.

Try it for free for one week. Especially check to see if the location finding works for you. Also, test out the other stuff. Like take a picture, turn on microphone, send call/text log, etc.

If it's not, for you there are dozens of other options - including a handful of free ones.

I believe Cerberus works with a Mac as well. I'm not too sure about it but I remember hearing somewhere that it does.

Leaving that aside, it's a really successful app and probably the best you can get for Android.
