Tracking App?

Newbie
Hi all, great forum....i all ready have a HTC Desire, think it's a briil phone, thinking of getting my wife one too.
Is there an app you could recommend to me so we can see where we both are by looking at say Google maps?

The latest version of Google Maps has this built in, just add each other to Google Lattitude.

I presume you're going to tell your Wife about this? If not then what you're doing is very illegal :eek:
 
The F-secure app allows you to text a special code to the phone and it will send back coords if the GPS can get a signal or by triangulating a rough guess based on cell signal if it cant.
 
Call me old fashioned, but surely a quick text or call along the lines of 'Hey, where are you at the moment?' is much more polite, and much less intrusive? I've never understood the uses of features like this unless you're trying to spy on someone. Feel free to correct me if I'm being archaic. :p

My wifes car broke down last week, she had know idea where she was and ended up walking half a mile down the motorway to a sos phone to give her location to the RAC!!!!

My wife also thinks its a very good idea.
