Help transfer data to new galaxy s2

I broke my old phone and I have just received my new S2. I backed up the info on my old phone with kies and tried to restore it to the new phone. When I tried to restore to the new phone I get the message some apps will close and network will be unavailable. I have downloaded all the apps that I purchased from play store but they don't appear on my phone.

Can somebody tell me how to tranfer my data and apps to the new phone and how to get the apps that I downloaded to the phone to show up on the phone

For downloading of apps from Google Play, make sure you set up the phone using the same google account as previous phone. And make sure the phone number is correct (if you changed number).

As for Kies, what info are you trying to restore? Maybe try restoring one item at a time. Say contacts, then memo, etc.
