MKV Transfers were crashing windows explorer until I uninstalled DivX. I can finally co-exist with Galaxy Nexus.
Hopefully one with subtitles?
My issue is when I plug my phone into my MAC it doesn't recognized it, but it does when plugged into my PC.

I had no trouble transferring music, pictures, and ringtones. I just connected by GN usine USB, Windows 7 recognized it, and I transferred media easily.
Wait... Am I seeing this right? Galaxy Nexus supports .mkv files???Hopefully one with subtitles?
*faints*

Hi there. I'm having the same problem. When I connect my SGN to my Windows 7 computer, it recognizes the device and installs the drivers. However, whenever I try to transfer files from the computer to the phone, Windows Explorer stops working and crashes. This even happens when I tried to copy a file from one directory to another on my SGN. HELP!![]()
Just tried it. Pics won't go into the DCIM folder (where they came from on my old phone) but if you create a new file, they transfer just fine.
I can't transfer pictures from my computer to my nexus but I can copy from my nexus to PC.
This is ridiculous and it almost makes me regret not getting a phone with a sd card.
Has anyone else had this trouble and if so have you fixed it?
When you connect, you get the notification for "connected as media device". Tap that and it brings up an option to connect as a camera. Not sure if that will help or not, but, seems like the problems are with photos and I remembered seeing that earlier...
Try airdroid from the market. You'll be impressed, assuming you have a wifi network to work with.
