when i plug in my phone it says my SD card has 15 gigs of available space... BUT when i go to transfer a 9 gig video file onto the SD card it says the file is too big? anybody know a way around it? I already tried compressing it and i really dont want to convert it into anything else but i shouldnt have to because i have enough room on there...
 
the sd card is formatted in FAT32. a single file size in FAT32 cannot be larger than 4 gigs, so theres your problem. im not sure if you can change the format of the SD card to NTFS, but that would be something to look into...or break up the file into 3 parts
