Transfer issues

all right i have figured this issue out before but for some reason i cant figure it out. i'm trying to transfer files from my phone to my computer. i plugged the usb in from my phone to my computer and when your suppose to go to notifications and its suppose to say something like usb but it doesnt say it anymore. can someone please help me.. maybe is there a app i can download on my phone to use or is there suppose to be a download on my computer i need.. HELP PLEASE this is very annoying lol

Do you have the current USB drivers installed on your PC? If not then this might be a first step in troubleshooting your issue.

thanx i got it working now i turned my phone off and turned it back on while it was plugged in usb and it works just fine..thank u for the help
