Help Transfer photos from digital camera to Note?

I am going to Orlando in 3 weeks and will be using my digital camera (Canon) to take photos and videos. I will be taking my iPad2 and backing them up to it using the Camera Connection Kit hopefully each evening. I would also like to back them up to my Note and then (belt and braces approach) back them up online via Dropbox, Box or Google+.

I am aware of the Eye-Fi range of SD cards which can do the transfer wirelessly but these are too expensive and no big enough. I have bought 2 Sandisk 16Gb Class 10 cards, one for each camera.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do/buy to get the photos onto my Note? And can anyone recommend which of the backup websites might work best for me? Grateful for any help as time is running out......

I'd just put my sd card from the camera in a USB(stick) card reader and connect it to the note' USB port. You can read/copy from your normal file explorer on your note. If your camera has a standard USB exit then just mount the drive by connecting with a cable. All mentioned ways require of course the use of the USB OTG adapter.
