Ok so i have transfered files to my computer before but this time it wont work i have drivers installed and yea i need to transfer some photos any ideas?.

"won't work" is a little vague. Do you mean it won't mount the phone as USB storage?

If you see the USB connected icon in the notification tray, you can click on that to connect as mass storage. Also, make sure that debugging mode is not enabled. Go to menu>settings>applications>development and make sure debugging is not checked.

You should get a warning about apps being unavailable while your SD Card is mounted. once you accept this, your SD card will be mounted for PC file transfers. If this doesn't happen, tell us what does.

Windows xp 64 bit

With the phone plugged in to the PC and mass storage enabled, right click on My Computer (either on the desktop or from the start menu) and select manage.

Under System select Device Manager and see if there are any unknown devices. You may have to right click on your computer's name in the device manager window and select scan for hardware changes.

If that doesn't get the sd card to mount, in the management window on the left under storage click on disk management and see if a removable disk is listed and formatted as FAT32.
