Help Transfering Music from a MacBook

I am trying to transfer music (some from itunes, some not) to my Vortex from a Mac Book. WHenever I plug the phone into the computer via usb, it says "The disk you have inserted is not readable". Any ideas? Thanks
 
Either that, or a less intensive approach. Simply use Bluetooth to transfer the music files from your Mac to your Vortex.
