Transferring docs & spreadsheets

Thought I would be able to transfer docx & xlsx files from my pc to my t101 but get a msg saying that the device does not support them. Have Astro & Office Suite Pro on the tablet. Call me dumb or whatever but help me out.

which version of office suite do you have? maybe try another app like Quickoffice Pro or Polaris Office 4.0

i use polaris office on my asus transformer inifinity before and it had no problems with docx. i never have used it for spreadsheets yet so i'm not sure if they will work with .xlsx files or not.

Office suite pro 7 is now on sale on playstore.. 0,72 euros / 0,99 dollars. If anyone is interested in that =) Normal prize is over 14 dollars...

Kingsoft Office is worth a try. What I use, and opens, views, edits docx and xlsx no problem.

Just select the option of "Copy Anyways" and open it using the Office Suite Pro. It'll work. The phone cant fully understand which applications can run which files, so you're getting that error.

I agree - and it's free. It's now my preferred office app on Android even though I had already bought other paid apps.
