Help Transferring SMS from SD card to phone

Is there a way to transfer SMS from my SD card back to a MT phone? I backed up the SMS on my SD card from my old Triumph and I want to transfer them to my new Triumph. Im using Go SMS Pro. The SMS are on the SD card, but I just do not know how to make them appear on Go SMS Pro. Do I need an app or do I hook the phone up with the cable or what? Please help!

go into go SMS. in the main screen where you see messages from contacts, tap the menu button, then tap the second tab, then backup and restore, under restore, select "advanced" and you will see a list of your backups, if you only have one, youll only see one, tap it so its selected and click restore.

I do this ALL the time, works perfect, restores the texts so GO SMS and the stock app can see the texts
