Help Transferring SMS to SIM card?

Hi, how do I transfer my text messages to my SIM card so that they don't get deleted (from my phone - I've already backed them up on my email but I still want to keep them physically on my phone) when I upgrade to 2.1?

You can't save them to your SIM card, there are apps that will back them up to your SD Card. There are other apps other than the one I linked to - I have not tested any of the SMS backup apps.
