Help Transferring texts in Android

Hi I have some texts saved in my SIM card from my old phone and I have this xperia mini pro, and I was wondering if there's any way at all to transfer the texts from the sim card over? Please help the texts are quite important!

hi, i was wondering if you had found out the answer to your question because i also had a similar question. is there any way of transferring text messages recieved and sent on the xperia mini pro to a computer or memory card?

There are some apps that you can use to save the messages to the SD card. For example "SMS Back up & Restore" and is free on the Android Market.
