There is another thread that talks about the lack of USB on the tablet but the discussion turned to opinions about if it is really needed. It is a requirement for my application as I'm sure for some others as well. I'd like this thread to stick to news/info from Asus and any possible 40 pin to USB adapters or any tech regarding USB without the dock.
My question is does the dock contain additional hardware that supports the host function or is it simply a hub. Either way I see no reason that a 40 pin adapter couldn't be created either through pinout or host hardware discovery. I like this tablet enough to deal with, ehem... Apple style proprietary 40 pin to usb adapter when I need USB on the tablet.
