Root Transition animations

So, I bit the bullet (well, a few, actually) and installed Senseless Revolution with Lou's kernel#6, a radio update and PRL 65144.

Everything seems fine so far, but I really, really hate the new window & transition animations that came with the ROM, to the point where I actually disabled them.

Is there any way to flash the stock froyo ones back in, while leaving the rest of the ROM as it is now?

Also, is there any way to disable the beep volume buttons emit when you change volume? I use the nolock app and utilize them to unlock the phone, and this sound is annoying.

There should be a "Spare Parts" app installed with that ROM, just go in to there and turn the animations off, there are 2 settings to modify. Easy as pie :)

Actually, spare parts does nothing for this.

I was able to find stock animations metamorph theme on xda, though, so it's all good now in that regard.

I still found no solution for disabling the volume buttons beep.

Hmm, Spare Parts fixes the transitions on Redemption and Redemptive on my phone, I'm assuming we're talking about the same transitions here. Maybe it just doesn't do it for the Senseless version *shrugs*

There is a setting for both transition options that turns them completely off. I know I did it after growing tired of the transitions myself. While kinda cool, they just slow down the overall experience. But I know for a fact that Spare Parts can turn them completely off. I'll throw up a screen cap after my Nandroid backup finishes.

Ohh I see. I wasn't aware that Froyo even had transitions, I thought you just jumped from screen to screen. It's been so long since I last used a stock Froyo build :o
