I was just wondering if anyone has found a way to make the lockscreen transparent?
I've spent a while on google looking for answers, but to no avail. I don't mind the bar thing with the time on it, I just want to be able to see my homescreen when my phone is locked.
I don't think that will work as you expect, since when lockscreen is active, homescreen widgets are not being updated. Best you could hope for is seeing a static image of how the widgets looked at the time you locked the phone.
This might be a good feature request directly for android developers.
I'm wanting the same thing, I don't care about widgits, but the scrolling wallpaper annoys me when they're the same... Any ideas? It's available for the CDM hero.
Um, why not just use the same image for both lockscreen and homescreen? Obviously, you will have to use the central area of the homescreen image for lockscreen, since the homescreen background is wider.
