Root Transparent Status Bar Metamorph?

I saw a little tutorial for this the other day and have lost it :(

Basically it blends your status bar with your background and looks fantastic in my opinion :-) Was hoping someone had a metamorph for this or even a tutorial that I could attempt to follow.
