Travel Battery Charger?

Anyone been able to find a travel charger for the BF5X model battery included with the Droid 3? I bought a 2nd battery working under the assumption that the improvement in battery life over my old Droid 1 would be decent but not spectacular, but right now, I can't find a travel charger for it. The one I had for my Droid 1 doesn't support the BF line of batteries, and Motorola was less than forthcoming about when one might be available when I contacted their customer support online.

(Incidentally, the manual for the HD dock I bought for the Droid 3 mentions a stand-alone battery charger you can connect to it, but I haven't been able to find *that* either.)

Bought the exact same one from the same place. Hey - for $5.00 why not try.

It is cheaply made, charges slowly and is a little quirky.....

But mine works just fine.

Maybe you got a bad one??

Any USB charger should work, unless its not supplying enough current to charge the device. Computer USB 2.0 ports provide 500mA which will charge it but slower. The wall charger provides around 1000mA I believe. This one looks like it puts out up to 800mA. The voltage is a bit high at 5.2, USB spec is 5.0. I'm always weary of these cheap chargers after I had one ruin an MP3 player. Tested it on the volt meter afterwards and it was putting out 10v when it was supposed to be doing 5v.

i bought a duracell external battery that can charge any cell. I got it for under 15 on amazon. Im mobile or id link u. Works well
