Tricky Tricky?

So, question:

I know the Thunderbolt is coming out and will offer a locked data contract at unlimited for $29.99/month, and the risk is that once the Bionic etc come out they will charge a tiered plan.

Through my silver membership with Best Buy I have the ability to return a device within 45 days of purchase, if I sign up for a contract with the Thunderbolt, and exchange it when the Bionic comes out (or flat out return it and keep the contract active), could I apply the contract to the Bionic?

Anyone have any information on this since I cannot imagine I am the first person to think about this...

you could return it within the certain amount of time but if they change prices for data then you wouldnt get unlimited unless you paid full retail for the bionic and kept the thunderbolt to keep the contract that you signed and the data plan the same.
