Tried 5 diff apps to play random notification tones. None work. What am I doing wrong?

So I wanted to play random notification sounds when I got a txt/email. I figured I wasn't the only one with the idea and sure enough there are at least a dozen apps that do this.

I made 3 custom mp3s and added them to the system notification sounds. I can select them on the audio menu on my Droid X.

I set the notification sound to the default Droid sound, then tried 5 different apps.

All of the will select the 3 sounds I wanted to use, and they say they are enabled but none of them will work, phone still plays the Droid sound

I thought about just deleting all notifications off of my phone and putting the 3 sounds in a folder then selecting them in the app........but there has to be a simpler way.

Anyone know what is wrong?

Tnx

They Need To Be .ogg files or else they won't work. You can try a sound converter, or you can attach them here and I will convert them for you.
