I was using CM7 and Oxygen pretty much the entire time I used the phone. A lot of times with LaucherPro.
Had grown accustom to a lot of customization, options, and details.
Just for a change, and since there aren't very many options for the CDMA Desire.....I gave MIUI a shot.
On top of that, I've been getting horrible reception. Dropping calls and pockets of no service.
Wow, what a slick interface. About as far as you can get from Oxygen.
So far, it's a refreshing change. Not sure about performance or battery life yet.
It's a little weird not being able to tweak every single parameter.....and dealing with all of the chinese theme names is....
I'm having issues with the lock screen. Some work well, but are plain. The fancier ones are cool, but the clock comes in 24 hour format, and you can't change it. Or another one had a bunch of gibberish where the date info should be.
Kind of a pain.
Overall, I'm going to keep at it, and try to fix the lock screen. The rest seems decent.
