Root tried to restore backup

tried to go back to a stock backup of from cm7. I cleared cache and data and did the restore. The phone boots but almost all apps show as not installed including the market app. just tried to install the market but5 it just force closes. any thoughts?

Lol, you from sdx right? MAke sure your back isn't corrupted, make sure to format system.

Clear data, mount /system, clear dalvik cache, clear cache partition, and format /system, then restore backup without rebooting, that should give you a extremely clean phone before you restore.
