Root Tried to root phone now in boot loop.

I have a Rogers captivate 2.3.3.

I tried super one click but it kept crashing on my computer, so I followed this,

A youtube video where I applied a .tar file. I897UCKF1-AutoRoot-DesignGears.tar following,

I ran that, and now my phone is in a boot loop... It will boot up saying AT&T, and then Rogers, then boot into the OS and then reboot.

I did not take a backup.

Please help!

Hey,

I did the same thing. I am with Rogers (in Ottawa), and it bootlooped me. All you gotta do is redo the kernel with this one (BOOG) using ODIN.

After that I eventually used CWM to install the LEGEND ROM, which comes with a KK4 kernel (2.3.5). Regardless the boog is nice, and it roots.

It also helped me fix my GPS.
