Root Tried to update hboot to fix radio, now stuck in bootloop. HELP

Ugh...

Stuck in bootloop, automatically reads hboot. HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS?! I can't remove the file from the sd card because I cannot boot the phone to connect it to my pc!

What do I do? This is BS! Just trying to fix the damn radio interface shortage error, and now I have a bricked phone?

What do you mean by "any other phones or an adapter"? I have the USB cable to connect it to my PC, the problem is that since it is stuck in bootloop, my PC will not recognize the device...

Some degree of specificity would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

He means to pull out the SD card from the phone. And then place it into your computer using either an adapter or by placing it inside of another phone that works and plugging that into the computer

There's this thing in your phone called an sd card is revolutionary it's a small thing that holds memory that's removable and can be found in the back of the phone by the battery if you put it into an adapter you can put it on the computer and remove the file so you can get into your recovery or your phone

Got it. I was able to run to the store and buy an adapter to remove the file so I could access bootloader, but I still havent figured out how to stop the bootloop. I tried recovering partitions.

boot into recovery from the bootloader. Wipe every partition except the SD card. Then either restore A back up or flash a new ROM

Happens to me every time. Just take out the sd card, boot into recovery, wipe cache+dalvik, and you're good to go. No need to flash a new ROM

For anyone else having this problem:

I could not break the bootloop by wiping partitions and restoring from backup. I had to delete the hboot zip from the sd card via a microsdhc adapter for my PC, I purchased (the one time I was happy that I lived close to a walmart), delete the stock odex rom and replace it with Midnight rom (found on this board) then go into recovery and flash Midnight Rom. Then I was able to fully boot and complete the radio, and PRL fixes.

My very first try at rooting/flashing ANY device. I pulled my hair out a few times, I think being more specific to the point of redundancy would better serve the less tech savvy among us (me).

Thanks.

Like I said, you didn't have to flash a new rom. You just have to wipe the cache+dalvik. Anyone else with this problem, keep this in mind.

Not always... hboot 1.04 does not work with stock even after wiping cache+dalvik.

When you downgrade the hboot I think the stock rom won't work (like flashing a jmz kernel on 1.04)

Yup. stock rom works only with hboot 1.57 or above.
