Hello not sure if I am in the right place sorry. I just got a Trio Stealth 4.3 Android is 4.0. Was great for 2 wks then it froze on android man dead with red exclamation mark in his belly. Did factory reset but wonder if I should've also wiped the cache partition as I did. Then reboot-same thing. One site called this a boot loop. I've read this tablet may be rooted by default. I would like to download to an Sd card maybe boot files or a recovery or even the stock firmware. I'm not sure of my options so if anyone can advise it would be greatly appreciated. Thx you

I moved your thread into this forum so others can help.
Although I am not familiar with your device, you said you just got it.
I suppose if we cannot find an option here for you, is it possible to get an exchange?

And by the way, doing a factory reset should have cured your woes, and doing the factory reset should have cleared any cache partitions
However, there may be something else amiss if you still are not up and running....

thxs for such quick response. I have a Trio 4.3 internet tablet. Installed with android 4.0 ice cream sandwich. Is there a software I can install on an SD card to either boot past logo or what ever I need to repair/reinstall? Thanks. Theresa

yea that is the correct device thank you for your help. I'll try that one. I did factory reset but first time said wipe cache, I did. Now it says format cache partition. I'm scared to mess it up more. Also says F: failed invalid argument.

I didn't find anything except for perhaps rooting the device.

Now, I can't say yay, or nay, to it working but it's worth a shot :dontknow:

Is there an option for you to exchange the device since it's relatively new?

hi mike? Yeah got it for xmas but no receipt. I'm wondering if maybe you know if its rooted by default is there a Rom to recovery or reair? I've read that model comes rooted by default. I don't know rooting. It's not windows & I'm a comp tech. Thanks for your help. I'm not getting to much like it says, uhh newbie. Could be also hardware issue right?:. It's starting to make me crazy, 22/7 for real.

Hmmm, from what I've seen, those tablets are sold at WalMart?
Doesn't WalMart take returns without a receipt? Not sure on electronics though.

There isn't very much info out there for that device...but I do have a question....
The reset button---it is the kind you have to put a paperclip into a small hole to reset?

Hello my son works at tiger direct & got it awhile ago. Thanks for all ur help still can't find what to do, but I won't give up yet. I get viruses just to have something to do. None have got me stumped but this thing has! Do u mind if I keep u informed sometimes? Thxs again

Hello Mike this is Theresa I posted last month about a Trio Stealth 4.3 internet tablet that has a boot loop issue. You were very helpful at the time. I picked it up a few days ago to try once again & have learned alot. Pretty sure problem is sys files are corrupt. Been to like 1,000 sites, 99% sure i need to re flash firmware A10, but i just can't find a legit download site. I know about xda but they still don't offer a download for the firmware. Would u possibly know a site that really has the firmware download. Also i need to put it on an sd card as i can't enable the device to show up on my pc. I put an sd card in my phone and copied some files to it that said would boot it up and install them but uhhh nooo. So I thought about u again. Any help as always will be sooo appreciated. Thxs Mike I'll be waiting to hear from u again.....
