Help Trio Stealth g2 10

Ive only had this device a couple months, yest when i turned on the tablet it opened on the setup screen, not being able to do anything else I completed the onscreen directions, although i was unable to set up another acct other than google. I had lost all my apps so i went to the play store to download and after the download attempt I recieved a message indicating i could not download due to insufficient memory. I have 16gb internal memory with more than 1/2 left ,plus a 4gb sd card all available.. I then factory reset it and got the same outcome.. Today i opened the tablet and it turned on to the same setup page as I encountered yesterday.. What happened to my memory and what can i do

I can tell you that the sd card is irrelevant for downloading apps.

Can you visit the sticky post in this forum about Android storage and see whether you can download the (very small) Storage Truth app there? If you can, run it and post the results.

If you can't, can you post a screenshot of your phone's Settings > Storage screen? Just want to know exactly what your setup is, in case it's one of the odd ones that has the emulated sd card distinct from a (usually small) app storage (/data) area.

Yeh, I suspect it may have partitioned internal storage, it's something that some manufacturers of Chinese budget devices still do. Storage Truth would be very useful here.

Surely after a factory reset though he should have some app storage?
Did you do the reset from settings or recovery (not sure if it makes a difference but worth a try)?

Some storage, yes. But if the option to back up app data and settings with Google is selected it could all start filling up automatically when you sign in. So having details of the actual storage situation will help us understand the problem.
