Haven't heard of one. Honestly, if you want to do some serious recording you may want to buy or rent a video camera or at least have a friend help you with making your video. It's worth having someone else there to help if possible because you never see what your recording looks like until after it's done and, if there's a problem in the middle, they can help stop you correct and get it right.
I've got my eye on one of these:
HTC Thunderbolt Car Mount - Breffo Spiderpodium
And they are available from Amazon:
Amazon.com: Breffo Spiderpodium Stand for iPhone, iPod, Cellphone, & Much More (White): Cell Phones & Accessories
(I've spent a wad on accessories so far, so I'm not getting it yet until I save a bit more stash)
I was looking at this:
Tripod Mount Stand Holder for HTC Thunderbolt 4G
Tripod Mount Stand Holder for HTC Thunderbolt 4G Tripod [Thunderbolt 4G-tripod] - $6.99_(Trendtouch.com - Leading online shop offers cell phone accessories, Cameras accessories, Computers accessories, iPad accessories and more)
It sounds like it's just the little holder that is being sold, right?
I E-mailed the seller and asked, "How tall is your "Tripod Mount Stand Holder for HTC Thunderbolt 4G" when it is fully extended??"
and he responded with, "thank you for writing to us
our item can fit your thunderbolt 4G
welcome to purchase
thanks and regards,"
Then I said, "I understand that it'll fit but how tall does the tripod stand off of the ground?"
..but got no response.
Heard good things about the GorillaPod.....
Official Store: Shop the JOBY Store for GorillaPod, GorillaMobile and GorillaTorch - flexible and bendable legs with magnetic feet
Sold on Amazon and elsewhere and should be able to fit it to the Bolt, but
I don't know for sure.
See the problem is, I bought a Canon Vixia HG20 for my purposes, but I realized that I don't actually use it enough to warrant the video camera I bought. :/ I was hoping to use the thunderbolt instead, because the video quality seems pretty nice, and I already use an external microphone.
I don't see why I would need someone else there when it's all standstill video...? I set the camera and mic up beforehand, do a few tests, and when it all looks and sounds good, I roll.
