Triumph Battery on eBay

please let us know about the Chinese Battery for Motorola Triumph i temtered to get a few if there ok and work not bothered if same time they run out just want a spare(s) battery
3 batteries and a charger for 14.99 sounds untrue but hope they work .

Thanks, Bob. I'm interested to hear whether the connectors slide around too easily (I'd be worried about bumping into it and frying the battery). Also curious whether the battery fits snugly, or whether it threatens to pop out. I was interested in finding a charger I could take with me in my car, and have it resting on the seat or floor, without worrying that the battery will get dislodged if I hit a bump. I'd prefer not to have to jerry-rig the thing with silicone/tape/glue/etc. Thanks in advance.
I received my battery and charger a couple days ago and I have noticed using Battery Mix that the replacement battery stays full longer after removal from charge so far so good. As far as the pins moving around this is not an issue the pins end up pushed all the way to one end and there is a plastic stop that keeps them from sliding around. Upon battery insertion prior to plugging the charger into AC the LED on the charger lights Blue when you plug it in to AC with battery inserted it lights a pinkish color and when it is fully charged it lights blue again. Instructions are not evident unless you can read Chinese.

after testing the Anker battery from ebay, i've come to the conclusion that the battery is only somewhat better than the stock one, it is up you if you wanna get one, at least now i got a backup to carry around.

I have been using it for about 3 days now, and I am getting at LEAST 15 hrs and still at 45% so everything is working good here.

Stock Battery is 1380mAh, this one is 1500mAh

Theres a video on youtube where a young woman compared the Anker and Stock battery running at full loads, (Brightness, Wifi, Games, Movies, Texts, Phone etc.) And the Anker battery appeared to have an average of %10.5 improvement over the Stock battery.

I would expect that if the phone were used more conservatively, the Anker Battery life could increase even more over the Stock.

I will say that the Stock battery can last a lot longer, if you disable the Location settings, disable Mobile Data (when not in use), set Wifi to Sleep when screen is off, and disable haptic feedback. I also use Advanced Task Killer. My stock battery has lasted 28 hours and is down to only %68. So before buying a new battery see if you can squeeze more life from your Stock one.

hmmm... just so i know im charging it correctly, can u please take a pic of how you placed the battery inside the charger??? thanks in advance!

thanks bobakman! *i was doing it correctly then but im not so sure if it's charging.. :/

edit: i got the pink led finally (more like red actually).

what i did was while plugged to the wall, i pressed/wiggled the battery. it took a few tries but the red led finally stayed on! whew!

so for others reference: when u plugged the charger to the wall and u get a blue led instead of red, it means it's not charging. it is actually draining the battery (from what i've noticed). make sure you get a CONSTANT RED LED til it turns BLUE which means it's then FULLY CHARGED. :)

Has anyone tested out the 3 pack of 1500 mah batteries? I'm considering ordering it but want to make sure they work and won't fry my phone!

I'm using the 3 pack. Haven't gotten too many cycles in yet but it's at least comparable to the stock battery. My calibration is a little off though, but it comes close to the oem battery.

One thing though is that these batteries report a static temperature of 24.8*c.

I worry about the standalone charger that comes with it. Will definitely need to be very careful if I want it to last more than a few uses.

Absolutely can't complain. Got here in maybe 2 weeks from china. 3 batteries that for the time being work comparably to stock. Carry one in my back pocket and don't need to worry anymore.

That said, I'll be in the next article you read about dude dying because his cell phone battery blew up in his pocket

yeah, figure with 3, you can expend one to testing. subject it to high temperature and humidity and see how it fares.

back in the day, i got an ebay bundle of knockoff bl6c's (extended nokia batteries). when they were new, they had about the same battery life as a bl5c. after using them for a year, all my bl5c's were better (and they had an additional 1-2 years of use on them). but, the worst ebay bl6c still got me 4 days on a charge a year later (good ol nokia s40 phones).

haven't blown up yet ;)

with regards to these batteries, I'm using battery mix, and am seeing 2.1%/hr currently. From 100%, it was around 15%/hr until it got to 70%. Definitely not calibrated properly, especially since I'm swapping batteries every rundown.

edit: oops. it dropped to 2.1%/hr after i turned wifi off. nifty app

So... are these batteries fine to use?

If you're referring to the triple pack + charger on Ebay, then yes. I bought them, and they're all ever so slightly better than stock for me (so now I've got 4 batteries for my phone). The desktop charger hasn't caught fire yet either, so that's good. ;)

Coming out with an extended battery - I'm not holding my breath - that is something that may be hard to do, seeing the battery door doesn't span the entire backside of the device. The charge density may be at max for the present form-factor cell. The phone would be truly ugly and feel really funny with a protruding buldge.

More likely, we'd see better battery life with a better version of the OS (like Gingerbread or ICS) or power management software. Isn't this what the modders are claiming with rooting and CM?
