I am getting ready to go to Jordan for 10 days. I know the regular cell service won't work there but should I still be ok for calling, text etc with my Google Voice/groove IP combo over wifi? And I assume Skype will work ok as well?
You'll be fine if you have wifi. I had my triumph with me in Belgium back in October. I could read email, do skype, web - just no regular phone calls or texts. That was fine with me.
