Help Triumph Phone Donation?

So for all the users packing their bags and kissing the MT goodbye would anyone will be willing to donate a Triumph to help all the users that are staying true to the Triumph? It would be very handy for Development as I am constantly needing to format and reload my device on a daily basis. I am simply looking at it as a way to save time for me so I can spend more time developing, and less time messing with backup's and restores after each failed build.

If I have any takers I would gladly pay for shipping and handling along with a small donation.

Thanks,

-g60

I picked up my dev phone from ebay for 60 bucks free shipping. It has a bad esn but if I get a stable ROM I can always try it on my good phone for network stuff. And it will serve as a backup to my phone if it ever dies. dd:D

Yeah this maybe the way I need to go, however I was hoping with all the jumping of the ship, someone might be willing to donate for the community. With any dev work we do not do it for personal gain, it's simply about helping the community. I wish Motorola felt the same way......

Triumph WX435 / Discussion / General Discussion:Source for Device Files?

Yeah where its Apache based licensing they can publish source but are not required. That is why Google released the aosp (minus the kernel which has to be gnu gpl v2 due to it being forked from the Linux kernel) under Apache so that vendors could choose whether or not to publish it. But I agree with you. They should to help the community out! But I'd say there is some proprietary hardware tied up in those repos from other companies other than Motorola which us also why they wont release it!

I cannot donate a phone. But if it helps, ever couple of months I will donate about $20 to assist in keeping the site and development going.

Your a good man Mike! At this point it's a personal goal I have to kick these device files @$$'s and get this phone working proper. Motorola giving me the bird is just lighting the fire more. Now that we have created Team WX435 I just know we are going to get it solved. It's not going to be over night but in time I feel like this Triumph is going to prove to be a very solid phone thanks to all the support of all the dev's here at AF and XDA!

How about starting a pool and buying a phone or 2. $10 here, $5 there and you could maybe get a couple phones. I would be willing to donate a Ten or Twenty. This way I feel I am helping out and not always mooching .

i just picked up my 2nd triumph on craigslist for a refurb curve 8530, the triumph has a bad screen, muffled mic, and as far as i can tell the gps doesnt connect, it is under warranty so i am getting a new one but, on cl they are selling from $50-110

I have a triumph that I don't use. One issue though: the camera may or may not be dead. I get a black screen when I attempt to open it.
