Help Triumph semi Broken...No replacements in stock

The usb port is starting to crap out on my triumph, very difficult to get a connections to charge.
Called customer service, they will send a replacement unit...when they have some.
Wonder how long that could be.....

They told me the same, out of stock, about 5-7 buisness days wait. This was Tues night 1/31 when I talked to them. Let us know when u get one, I'll do the same ;)

I thought mine was doing this the other week and i got so scared, then i realized i was trying to use my Vortex charger.

only the OEM charger with without fail for me.

So I'm assuming this is the reason everywhere I've tried to buy one today didn't have any? Lol I was kinda pissed cuz I waited this long to get one and now that I tried they're suddenly out of stock. Go figure >.>

If I could do it all over again I would NOT buy a Triumph.
 
I'm glad I got my replacement last week. I'm with you about that phone thou. Sold mine for more than I paid, but the replacement unit was new I believe. I had brought one used. Going else where now.
 
Funny. the VMUSA web-site doesn't indicate out of stock.


I've checked Amazon too and they have them in stock according to the site, but I gotta wait for my money to clear in my account before I order with my card.knowing my luck they'll be out by then...
Also,I know the phone is pretty bad (lol) but I'm willing to root it seeing as I've read that it does away with alot of them

The phone was never "bad" for me, even on stock and unrooted. Yes, I have heard of plenty of issues. Some I believe are user based, some are bad manufacturing. It all depends on expectations as well, a huge problem for one person (say GPS) is not much of an issue for another (I don't need GPS on my phone). etc etc. :D
 
Yeah I don't need GPS either so as long as I can text, call, use web, and apps function well, I'll be happy. Either way, it'll probably be rooted within a week :)
Now to just find one :/
 
The way it sounded like from the "Tech" I spoke with is they have to wait for refurbished ones to come in to do the replacement. So it seems like we do not get new ones?
 
I don't get why they don't spend a little money to have a batch made that is tested a little better to get the kinks out. Then again,I don't exactly understand business and all that jazz..but if it seems obvious to me, shouldn't that be like the first thing they think of?
 
They have them in stock now, they shipped me a replacement the other day. Also, yes, I have had 6 replacements so far, 3 of which were new ones, and the other 2 (haven't gotten the 6th yet) were refurbs
 
those that got replacements... did you get a email that it shipped? I like to know when it gets here.

People have gotten new replacements outside of the 30-day window (some within it) they just pressured pretty hard for a new phone when they called Customer Service.
 
the best thing to do is to send it directly to the manufacturer. theres no need to pay for insurance on the phone. just it directly to motorola. they wont ask u anything. it takes about 1 week to get ur replacement phone.

ive had sent about 2 replacement phones already sinrying since one i messed up trying to install clockworkmod recovery and the second had a bad sensor and the screen died on me.

VM has a 1-year warranty free of charge for hardware issues (or software that wasn't user fault).
