I live about 45-50 min east of Atlanta(out of coverage area according to VZW coverage map), and I get 4G upstairs in my recliner and downstairs with it sitting on my nightstand.

I am about an hour outside of Chicago (to the north/west) and not in a 4G area according to the map, but i have it more than don't..

It's not distance that's important, but a LOS would help. if you are in a valley while the towers in city are up on hills, it will make it difficult...

Baltimore 28 miles Wilmington Delaware 18 miles basically me in the middle a little lower then both no big terrian changes flat land for the most part.

I can't see why you'd have a huge issue getting it. May be on and off. There's no way to tell until you get the phone and test it out
