I just purchased a galaxy s2 last week. I've noticed that sometimes during the day, I have trouble connecting to the internet when not on wifi. This is only intermittent. I am connected with the "H+" or "H" symbol. The internet connection I'm trying to make will actually time out. I am fairly sure it is not a setting in the menus, as the internet works fine some of the time. When I am not getting a internet, the arrows (upload and download) remain grey or just blink on and off. Eventually, the signal will come back, but this can take hours. Also, if I power off the phone, the signal does come back, but can just as quickly be lost again. Location does not seem to matter, but it happens most often at work, where I have no access to a wifi signal (work is in Hartford CT, and I have between 4 and 5 bars for reception)
I went to the store where I purchased the phone and got a replacement SIM card and phone (the issue happened while I was in the store so they could see it happening). This has not helped at all. The new phone and card have the same issue. Finally, the problem does not appear to happen when connected to wifi.
Anyone have ideas as to what is going on? I'm at a loss. I previously had an Iphone, and never had these issues.
Thanks in advance
