Hi everyone, I finally broke down and got myself a cell phone! Anyway, i bought the Samsung Galaxy Prevail and i have a hard time having conversations on it as half the words are "chopped" out or missing, however you want to say it. I end up saying "what?" after everything being said to me. Is this normal? It is very annoying. Defective phone? Low signal strength? Any input appreciated. Thank you.

Its probably low signal strength causing your issue. Mine does the same thing from time to time if I'm farther away from a Sprint tower.

If you just bought it take it back to the store. It still under warranty. Also try.. Miracle-Ear Digital Hearing Aids and Hearing Loss Solutions if all options fail.
