Root Trouble installing CM7

Just noticed my radio/modem thing (Baseband Version) got downgraded to UCKI3 from UCKI5 during the Infused install. Well that's okay because everything is working better and may be faster.

Is it possible for you to post ucki5 please?

I don't remember how I got it. I may even have the name wrong. I just remember it saying "5" and "UCK" something.

Oh, it connects you to mobile data, and maybe does something with gps im not sure. Try a few, each one is different.

How do i try one!?
What is it like some thingy majig u flash?? If so where can i find modem .zips? ill probly flash em all lol! Whats the dangers tho? brick possibly? can modems be backed up ?

EDIT: K i got it...found a thread on xda by gtg about modems...the best one for me is the UCKE3
what about you? I get very reliable signal and 4g i get downloads of 6.6mb/s and ups of 3.1mbps, one of the better speeds i ever got on MIUI. but on MIUI the battery drains twice as quick as Infused 2.2.3...i have no clue why...u got any ideas? Also, what kernels are compatible with MIUI?

No kernels are compatible with Miui, it uses it's own only. Battery you may have a rough app, and those speeds seem pretty good, just here in Denver UCKE3 gets 2 down all the time lol, where I4 get 7 down lol.

Well the battery is miui if I put the same apps on infused I get 14-16 hours and on miui it all just whizzes by in 4-5 hours!!!! Like wth...

Try updating Miui...
